Summary

  • The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it. It does not use advertising cookies, remarketing or ad personalization.
  • Whether Google Analytics runs depends on where you are and on your choice. In some places it runs only if you accept; in others it runs unless you turn it off.
  • The site has no accounts, no forms and no newsletter, and it does not ask for your name or email address.
  • You can change your choice at any time with Privacy settings, linked at the bottom of every page.

What we measure, and why

When Google Analytics is running, it records how the site is used so we can see which pages help visitors and improve the rest. This includes:

  • pages viewed, the page you came from, and when;
  • interactions we measure, such as clicking a button that leads to Amazon (which button, which page and which color was selected), and not purchases;
  • device, browser and screen information, and approximate location, which Google derives from your IP address.

We set Google Analytics so that it does not use Google signals or ad personalization, and we only send page addresses without query details other than standard campaign tags (utm_ parameters). Google describes how it handles this data in Safeguarding your data and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

How measurement depends on where you are

Location-based rules are not active yet. Until our hosting provider supplies location information, the site treats every visitor's location as unknown, so Google Analytics stays off for everyone unless they accept. When location rules are switched on, they will work as described below, using location from our hosting provider rather than your browser language or time zone.

Where you areGoogle Analytics
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, SwitzerlandOff unless you accept. Nothing is loaded from Google before you choose.
United StatesOn by default, with a notice on your first visit. You can turn it off at any time.
Other countriesOff unless you accept, until we have reviewed local rules.
Location not availableOff unless you accept.

If you have made a choice, we follow it wherever you are. A refusal stays a refusal when your location changes.

Global Privacy Control comes first. If your browser sends this signal, Google Analytics stays off in every region and no consent banner is shown, even if you accepted analytics on an earlier visit. It runs only if you turn it on in Privacy settings while the signal is on; that new choice is saved and respected until you change it.

Cookies and browser storage

  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_PLEDJGX66K) are set only while Google Analytics is running for you. They tell visits apart and keep session state. Google lists their default lifetime in Cookie usage on websites.
  • Your privacy choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we can respect it on every page and visit. Your location result is kept in session storage for the current tab only. These are not sent to Google.
  • No other cookies are set by this site. Fonts and images are served from this site.

Your choices

  • Privacy settings: turn Google Analytics on or off at any time. The link is at the bottom of every page.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, Google Analytics stays off, even after an earlier acceptance, unless you turn it on in Privacy settings while the signal is on.
  • Google's opt-out add-on: Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on all websites.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

When you turn analytics off, the site stops measuring from that moment: if Google Analytics had not started loading yet, it is not loaded at all, and if it was running, it is stopped and the Google Analytics cookies this site set in your browser are removed. Measurement that was already sent to Google is not deleted by this setting.

If JavaScript is turned off in your browser, Google Analytics does not run and the settings button is not available.

Server logs

Separately from Google Analytics, the service that hosts this site may automatically record technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Links to Amazon

Cosmivera products are coming soon on Amazon.com. When you follow a link to Amazon, you leave this site, and Amazon's own privacy notice applies there.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

Counts visits and how pages are used, such as clicks to Amazon, so we can improve the site. Sets cookies named _ga and _ga_PLEDJGX66K.

Turning analytics off stops future measurement and removes the analytics cookies this site set in your browser. It doesn't delete data already sent. Read the privacy policy.
